The Kansa wand is an ancient Ayurvedic body massage tool that has been in use for over 5000 years, since the origins of Ayurveda itself.
Its many benefits come from the {kansa} metal made with a tried and trusted sacred alloy of copper and tin.
When used in conjunction with gentle massage of the {marma} points and a rolling action, the wand increases circulation, pumps more oxygen into the blood and stimulates lymphatic drainage.
1. Find a comfortable and quiet space where you can relax without any disturbances. Take a few deep breaths to centre yourself and create a calm mindset.
2. Start by applying a small amount of your chosen KA oil or serum to your face, neck, or any other area you want to massage. This will help the Kansa wand glide smoothly over your skin and enhance the overall experience.
3. Grip the Kansa wand by the handle, ensuring a firm but gentle hold. The rounded, wider end of the wand is the part you will use for massaging.
4. Gently press the rounded end against your skin and move it in circular motions. You can start at your forehead and work your way down to your cheeks, chin, and neck. Maintain a light grip and let the wand do the work.
The brush should be kept dry and cleaned after every use with soap.
